I noticed some hyperlinks redirecting via outboundlink.net
At first I was paranoid about spyware, but after doing some research, I discovered it's related to DrivingRevenue - which converts hyperlinks on some social sites into affiliate marketing links. This makes it so the site owner gets paid if users followed links from their site to the linked site and buys something.
On livejournal.com, it seems to be dRev.js that takes care of the link rewriting.
